I am seeking information on Emanuel Peter ALFIERIS. He was born in Cornith, the son of Anna and Peter Emanuel Alfieris.

He booked passage on the S. S. La Goscogna (? unclear) for the Untied States of America, at age 17, and arrived on April 15, 1900. He changed his name to ALFIER after coming to the U. S.

Does anyone have access to birth and death records for this region? I have no information on his parents other than their names. Any assistance in finding this man's parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

My father-in-law is 85 years old and in failing health. I'm doing this genealogy research for him. He has never known anything about his family in Greece.
