I am needing U.S. help at this point. More particularly anyone who may
have indexes for deaths and burials in Kansas.
You see, after many months searching Australia for the death of LEWIS
PERRINE GREEN I believe he actually died in KANSAS. I have no exact
date, but he was born in 1833 in N.J. and sailed to Victoria, Australia
as a young man. He returned once alone to N.J. to visit relatives aged
in his 60's i.e. about 1896 or thereabouts. It is thought he did not
return to Australia. His wife, Sarah Jane Green and five grown children
were left in Melbourne, Victoria. His Australian family were advised of
his death as his name and country of death are on the family headstone
in Melbourne cemetery. However, it appears his relations in N.J. were
not informed.

Could someone please be able to spare a little of their time to look up
whatever records are available re Kansas deaths and burials and see if
we can find his final resting place?

Many thanks,

Robyn
N.S.W. Australia
