Please excuse the multiple post.
I have just found that my GREEN family was in Walker Co., Georgia in the
1850 and 1860 census.
They were found in 1870 Whitfield Co., Georgia, Tunnel Hill Distr. I don't
think they

census:
George W.-- 64 attending a ___ mill b. S.C.
Lucinda -- 60 keeping house b. S.C.
Margaret -- 38 at home b. S.C.
Malissa -- 36 at home b. S.C.
Harriett -- 34 at home b. S.C.
Melinda -- 32 at home b. S.C.
Elizabeth -- 30 at home b. GA.
In the 1850 Walker Co. Census there were listed in addition to the above
(with exception of Elizabeth) a son and 3 additional daughters. George was
listed as a mechanic.
Garland S. -- 23 b. S.C.
Eliza A. -- 21 b. S.C.
Mary -- 12 b. S.C.
Sarah A. -- 3 b. S.C.
