Ok, I have received many wonderful replies to the meaning of the subject
title. Now it has me thinking. Are my Greens from RI or one of the New
England states. I am going to post the info again can you all please check
your records to see if by chance he may be lingering in your tree. Or maybe
you have a missing brother in there and who knows it may be my line.

Parents unknown at this time: as far as we can tell he went to Canada
Charles Green b. 1798 in Canada and he married Mary Doty

I have it from that point. In a Bible it states that Charles son was of Old
New England stock. So my focus is at this time trying to find a Green
family that is missing info on maybe Charles father. The missing son or
brother. It also states that they were of Scottish origin. Those are the
ony clues I have at this time. Hope someone can help me.

Also, does anyone know anything of a Sir Charles Green who was living in 1790
in Ontario (Gosfield area). This one has me too, because Charles had 2 sons
one being born in Gosfield Ontario Canada, and he was Benjamin Green b 1822
the other being Edward Dale Green b. 1827 in Canada and he married Sarah Ann
Dale. If you have any info on Sarah Ann Dale it may lead me to this Green
line.

Leona R. Green
