For anyone out there that may be related to this family, I am including the
information I have:

>From a land petition, dated 1824:
William Green of Woodstock, Carleton county, NB, is married and the father of
13 children.. He is a native of England. James Green and Benjamin Green,
sons of said William Green and natives of this Province. James being a
single man 29 years of age and Benjamin Green a single man 22 years of age
have always resided in this province.

Land grant map for Woodstock shows James with lots next to Benjamin, William
and Nathaniel.

York County Records by R. Wallace Hale, Vol i, p. 377:
James Green married Mary Plummer, both of Woodstock on 15 Jan 1831.
Witnesses were William D. McIndoe and Hugh Morrison.
(note: at that time York county included Woodstock which was part of
Carleton when the new county was set off.)

Union Corner cemetery records in Richmond Parish:
James Green died in Woodstock on 3 April 1875 at 80 yrs, 3 months
Mary Green, wife of James Green, died 7 Nov 1870, age 61
There is also a William Green

1851 Carleton County Census taken Jan. 1852:
Green, James, 50, farmer, native of NB
Mary, 40, b. NB
John, 18, b. NB
Alvina (should be Albina), 17, b. NB
Darius, 15, b. NB
Marcy, 13, b. NB

Probate of James Green in 1875 petitioned by son Milton J. Green:
Apparently James left no will.
Milton names the children of James and Mary as follows:
John Green, residing in Wisconsin
Darius C Green, residing in Wisconsin
Levi Green, residing in Montecello, Maine
Milton J. Green, residing in Richmond, Carleton County, NB
Albina, married to Elijah Hersey, residing in Wisconsin
Mary, married to Nathaniel Brown, residing in Presque Isle, Maine
Eliza, unmarried and residing in Richmond, NB
Harriet, married to Joseph Bittner, residing in Linneus, Maine
Barbara, unmarried and living in Richmond, NB
and one niece, Louisa (looks like Burtt, daughter of Marie Burtt) who died
before James.

Wisconsin 1880 census for Waupaca county, Dayton township:
John C. Green, age 48, b. NB, parents b. NB
Drucilla, age 50

Druis (Darius) C. Green, age 40, farmer
Effin or Elsin Green, age 32

If anyone is related to this family, I'd love to hear from you. If anyone
knows the parents of Mary Plummer, I'd appreciate it if they would contact me
at .
