Mitchell Library, Glasgow:

In Memory of GILBERT GRIERSON, (FARMER) in Bucklerhole who died September
25th, 1794, aged 66 years.

Also AGNES MUNDELL his wife who died December 15th, 1800, aged 78 years.

Also Mary Grierson their daughter who died December, 1758, aged 3 months.
Robert Grierson, their son who died June 5th, 1797, aged 30 years. Margaret
Grierson, their daughter who died December 3rd, 1807, aged 50 years.

Also William Grierson, their son (FARMER) in Bucklerhole who died April
23rd, 1837, aged 76 years.

Also JEAN JOHNSTON his wife & daughter of William Johnston of Benga [sic]
who died September 8th, 1804, aged 35 years.

Also GILBERT GRIERSON, their son who died in infancy, Jean Charters [sic],
wife of William Grierson (FARMER) in Bucklerhole who died October 16th,
1849, aged 73 years.

Also JOHN, their son who died in infancy 1815.

Also JOHN Charteris Grierson their son who died July 18th, 1816, aged 5
months.

Post 1855 inscription.
