Sacred to the memory of James Grierson in Moss who died August 16th, 1840,
aged 57 years. Also Jean Millar his spouse who died at Riddings, Irongray,
August 31st, 1847, aged 68 years. Also Janet Grierson his daughter who died
October 9th, 1814, aged 6 years.


In memory of James Grierson who died at Solway Cottage, Caerlaverock 1846,
aged 37 years. Also Isabella his daughter who died 1833, aged 14 months.
Also Jane Edgar his wife who died at Dovescotwell July 28th, 1881, aged 76
years. Post 1855 inscription.
