Maybe everyone should sit down for this one. I have received a private communication from the Lord Lyon himself this morning in America. I will cut this one line only, so that everyone can see what the future might be for the 13th Baronet of Lag & Rockhall:

"This does not preclude descendants of the 12th Baronet in the female line from taking the name of Grierson"

If this is the case, it is much more likely, in fact probable, as there are many more woman than men.
