Anyone out there connected to Grimshaw ancestors in Lancashire, England? I have found mine in Cockerham , Forton Independent Church in early 1800's. I need help.

James CAYTON , 8 Oct 1834, Cockerham, Lancashire, England
born 1811 Lancashire, England

children
James Grimshaw Cayton b 1836

John Cayton b 1837

both sons christened at Forton Independent Church, Cockerham

They immigrated to the US on the Ship, NEW WORLD, arriving in New York , Sept 27 1850.


I am new to British research and would appreciate help on extending these lines in England.
