Dear Cousins,

Well, another holiday season is here already. Where has the year gone? I
want to wish each and everyone of you a very happy, healthy, safe and blessed
Thanksgiving.

We are facing some very troubled and stressful times, but my prayer is that
we will take this holiday time to reflect on where we’ve come from and where
we are going. God has blessed us so richly. I thank Him everyday that we
have the freedom to live and worship as we see fit.

The tragedy was so horrendous, but if anything good has come out of it, it is
that our
children and grandchildren can see how a nation can come together as one
great family. I remember WWII and how it seemed everyone cared for and
looked out for one another. I was just a very little girl, but my memories
are vivid. The letters my daddy wrote to me from the South Pacific are among
my most treasured possessions.

We are all too busy for Roll Call and such right now. I thought it might be
a good time to share some of the results of our research. Have you had a
great breakthrough or run up against the proverbial brick wall? Have you met
a family member (Kissin’ cousins):-) you didn’t know existed? I’d really
love to hear about it.

We did find a first cousin of my husband's through one of the lists. We lost
touch with her after her father died. We were so thrilled to hear from her
again.

I haven’t had much time to do research this year. I’ve been so busy
traveling with my
wonderful husband and working with the USGenWeb Census Project (I’ve taken
over as State Coordinator for eight states). I’m off again next week to
spoil two very beautiful little granddaughters in Carson City, NV. I live in
Texas so it is quite a trip, but worth every airport search and delay. But I
will be checking on the lists, so you all be sweet. grin

May God bless each and everyone of you and your families.

Myra
