Searching for one of my elusive "Lost Ladies":

Abigail Mayo, b. abt 1763; married Paul Atwell, probably in Amenia, Dutchess
Co., NY (or in nearby Sharon, CT), child, Ammon, b. Feb 1794, in Amenia.

Crum Elbow Tax lists show an Ebenezer Mayo, June 1768 - 1778, and an Elijah
Mayo, 1777-1778. Early History of Amenia, by Newton Reed, shows Ebenezer and
Elijah Mayo as signers of the pledge of loyalty to the American cause in the
Revolutionary War, signed in June and July 1775. Broome Co. history
indicates both the Atwells and the Mayos came originally from CT.

Anyone have any information on any of these people, or on any other Mayos in
Dutchess Co.? If so, any help will be greatly appreciated.
