Will Book No. 2 Norfolk County Court House, p. 30
"In the name of God Amen, I, Timothy Collins at present of
the Borough of Norfolk, and colony of Virginia, but lately
an inhabitant and resident of the town of Branford, and
county New Haven, Conn., Government in North America, being
sick and weak of body but of sound sense and memory do make
and ordain this as and for my last will and testament in
manner and from following this to say, first -

My will and desire is that all my just debts and
funeral expenses be paid and satisfied by my executrix
hereafter mentioned and as to the remainder of my worldly
estate I dispose of in the following manner.

I give and bequeath unto my loving wife, Mary Collins,
all my estate, both real and personal, whether money, lots,
houses, debts, bills, bonds, or obligations, which money,
lots, houses, etc I give to said wife, Mary Collins, whole
and sole executrix, etc, etc --

This 28th day of October 1774

of Mary Francis Collins (confusing because Mary F's father is listed
on her marriage Cert as John B, married to Elizabeth G. Mears!)

Would love to have a copy of the will. I collaborate with several Lewis
researchers and find you get much more done in a group. Over the weekend, I
will check some of the stuff I have collected and see if I can find the
Timothy Collins etc. I really would like to find a Collins connection to
work with.
