Yes Wyn,

I get that often also and sometimes it is very irritating especially when
many families tend to name descendants the same name over and over through
generations. When all I get is "Do you have any information on my Henry
Hurst?" type of query I admit I sometimes just ignore the email --
sometimes I will respond back explaining I need more information -- I would
like to think most of the time I try to remember I made goofs when I
started and maybe this is someone that just doesn't know any better and
needs some help. I have learned a lot about some of my branches because of
some very nice people, and I have been able to help some others also.

What bugs me worse are people who list themselves as researchers and
provide their email address inviting others to contact them then ignore
them (yes, even if all the info is provided in a query like name, date of
birth, state(s) where they lived, parents, siblings, family line etc) -- I
have run into that more than the other.

Marta Hurst
