Hello Mordyn,
You have to be a member of a recognized Genealogical Society to be
allowed to search records in town halls in the state of Ct. The Society
you refer to is The Ct Society of Genealogists, Inc, PO BOX 435,
Glastonbury, Ct 06033-0435. Phone # is 1-860-569-0002, membership is $32
a year, it includes 4 issues for the Nutmegger, a wonderful book, with
lots of info, and newsletters. You can submit 2 queries per issue, and
it is well worth the money. They have a large library, that is free to
use, you don't have to be a member, and a large list of books for sale,
at very reasonable prices.
Best wishes, Kathy
