Hi

I am descended from the PECK's of CT, but recognize little of your data,
except for the Wakefield, Yorkshire location that I do have for the 1400's
PECKs. The Ancestral File stuff on PECKs obviously has a lot of errors with
sons being born before fathers etc. Someone sent me the whole file from SLC
and it nearly drove me crazy trying to understand how such obvious errors
could be given file numbers etc.

For sure the immigrant was Deacon William PECK who died in 1694 in New
Haven, CT. The surname of his wife is not known.

Deacon William Peck arrived in Boston, Mass. aboard the "Hector" along with
his brother Henry on 26 June 1637 and was one of the founders of New Haven,
CT in the spring of 1638.

I am descended from his son John, born in New Haven in 1638 who married Mary
MOSS 11-2-1664 in New Haven. Their daughter, Mary, b 3-4-1665/66 married
John DOOLITTLE2-13-1681/82.

Stan
