I live in a community on West Lake in Guilford, CT. The community is known as
North End Colony. One of our roads is Harrison Road named after two Harrison
brothers. I know one was named Royal Harrison. They lived in Branford and
North Branford. They originally owned this land and broke it up into camp
sites which they sold. Eventually the cottages were all winterized and it has
become a year round community.
One of the descendants, Lincoln Harrison, owned a house on the lake but he
only spent summers here. His home was in East Haven. He died a little over a
year ago. There are other descendants of these Harrisons living in North
Branford and Branford. I understand there is one in Vermont and one in
Florida.
I don't know if these are the same Harrisons, but perhaps you could pursue
this line.
