Hi,

Does anyone know if Robert BURNHAM (b. 1581 - Norwich, Norfolk, England) & Mary ANDREWS (m. about 1607 in Norwich, Norfolk, England) had two sons named Thomas? A while ago, I was given some information on my Burnham line, and now that I am going over it more carefully, I see a few things that don't quite fit. I am descended from Anna BURNHAM (b. abt. 1644 in Hartford, CT) and Samuel GAINES. I have Anna's parents listed as Thomas BURNHAM (b. 1617 Hatfield Court, Herefordshire, England - d. 1688 in Hartford, CT) & Anna WRIGHT (b. 1620 England - d. 1703 Hartford, CT). This information all seems okay, although I would like to have some more information/dates. The problem begins when we get to Thomas's parents. As I mentioned above, the information I was given, has Thomas's parents as Robert BURNHAM & Mary ANDREWS. They were both from Norwich, Norfolk, England and I have all their children listed as being born there, except my Thomas who was born in Hatfield Court, Herefords!

It seems unlikely to me that my Thomas was a member of this Burnham family. Does anyone know the parents of Thomas BURNHAM (b. 1617 Hatfield Court, Herefordshire, England - d. 1688 in Hartford, CT), m. Anna WRIGHT (b. 1620 England - d. 1703 Hartford, CT), or can anyone give me any information on my Thomas Burnham & Anna Wright. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
