With all the posts on tobaco farms, it seems like a good time to mention
my great uncle, EDWARD O'CONNELL. He was born in Bury, Lancashire,
England in in 1853. He came to CT at age 18. and lived on Enfield
Street in Enfield, where he had a tobacco farm.

He owned the general store in Broadbrook for 40 years, and was
postmaster there for 25 years.

He married MARGARET DUNNIGAN and had 3 children on whom I have almost no
information. His daughter, JANE married CHARLES MISKELL and inherited
the house after his death. He had a son WILLIAM who moved to Upper
Darby, PA and a son EDWARD who became a doctor and lived in Birmigham,
AL.

I have no idea how to find the 2 sons. The information I have is from
the will of my great aunt in England. Their birth certifcates would be
in CT, but how do I find them once they left CT?
