I searched in the SSDI (Social Security Death Index) at ancestry.com and I
found a George Malenson, born 21Feb1902, died 23 Feb1992, last residence
06088 Windsor Locks, Hartford, CT), social security number 006-03-0945, ss
issued in Maine (before 1951)

>From this site, just enter the name,state of last residence and search - you
will see these results- you will also see a "Write Letter" box. If you click
on that you can print out a form letter to send with $7 to get his SS
application. There are parents names and other things on that application.
