I am still searching for any information on the CUNNINGHAM, FREEMAN,
HEMINGWAY, CAREY and MALEY families.
All in New Haven, Ansonia, Derby Ct.
James Ansel FREEMAN married Catherine CUNNINGHAM. Both died young. She
in 1907 and he in 1908 both in New Haven, Ct. They were my g
grandparents. The CAREY'S and MALEY families were relatives of the
CUNNINGHAMS. My grandmother was reared by her grandparents the Carey's
and later the Maley's.
James Ansel FREEMAN also went by just Ansel and was listed in the
directory in New Haven under Ansel.
My grandmother Mabel (Mae) FREEMAN married Albert Edward HEMINGWAY.
Both stayed in the New Haven area.
Albert HEMINGWAY was married before and had 2 girls by his first wife.
Last name was BENNETT.
