I suspect this is Thos WHITTEMORE. He doesn't fit in the MA WHITMORE
family.

Sarah HALL, b. abt 1723-7 in Kent, ENG d. Dec 1664/5 in Middletown --
d/o John HALL + __?__. First of Thomas's three wives and the
ancestress of all with the surname WETMORE. Thomas & Sarah are my 7th
G-GPs.

I have this information:
Thomas Whitmore came to America on the Bristol. Settled in Wethersfield
and Hartford CT. He was born in England in 1615 and died in Middletown CT on
Dec. 11, 1681. He m. 1st Sarah Hall the daughter of John Hall and Sarah
Wilcox, on Dec. 11, 1646 at Hartford CT. She d. in Hartford on Dec. 7, 1664.
He m. 2nd Mary (Platt) Atkinson, the widow of Luke Atkinson on Jan. 3, 1667
in Middletown, CT. She died June 17, 1669. He m. 3rd Katherine (Leete)
Roberts on Oct. 8, 1673 in Middletown Ct. She died after him on Oct. 13,
1693.

Thomas Wetmore's father was John Wetmore who was b. England and died Oct.
1648, killed by Indians. The name of his wife is not known. He came to New
England with his five children and settled in Watertown, CT. In 1639 he was
in Wetherfield CT.
