Many of you know Donna and you know that she is very ill with cancer. She is
currently under hospice care at her home, 33 Hillcrest Rd, Windsor, CT
06095-3310. She is very alert and does appreciate cards.

The Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council, of which Donna was a
founder and past President, has established a fund in honor of Donna for the
purpose of acquiring genealogical materials, each year, for area repositories.

A certificate was presented to Donna on July 24 by CPGC President Robert
Rafford. It reads as follows:

Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council
hereby establishes the
Donna Holt Siemiatkoski Acquisition Fund
In recognition of distinguished service in the fields of history and genealogy
Dated the 21st day of July in the year 2001.

She was truly very touched and is especially thankful that gifts in her honor
will be given each year to area repositories. There are endless numbers of
people inquiring about her. As of Thursday, the fund had $1340.00 in it.

Anyone wishing to donate to this fund may send a check to
