Hi Helene -- Norwich is in New London County, but CT has no county
government at all. You can find vital records from 1641 to the present by
contacting the Norwich Town Clerk at City Hall, 100 Broadway, Room 214,
Norwich, CT 06360, telephone (860) 886-2381. He/she may be willing to tell
you whether they have your grandparents' marriage license over the phone, as
well as how to get a copy. Perhaps the Otis Library, 261 Main, Norwich, CT
06360, telephone (860) 889-2365 can give you more information about their
business, possibly from a city directory, or even where they are buried.
