Hi Betty Brady -- Thank you very much for your offer. I am not researching
these people and do not know any who are, but perhaps I have some
information for you. a genealogy called The Treat Family, published in
1893, identifies Josephine Valentine as the second wife of Edward Adams
Treat, born 27 Nov 1845 in Westfield, MA. His first wife was Clara Jane
Tirrell whom he married 22 Nov 1870 at North Weymouth, MA. She died 13 Apr
1876 in East Weymouth, and he married Josephine 5 Jun 1883 in New York City.
His child with Josephine was Valentine Treat, born 16 July 1886.
Laura Ann Treat, whom you mentioned, was born about 1824 in Wethersfield,
CT, and died 22 April 1854 in Lee, MA. She married 6 Feb 1849 Ledyard N.
Bailey, 29 June 1814 and died 11 March 1857 in Lee. They had a daughter
Anna born 12 Feb 1854, who married 22 Jan 1879 G. W. Langstaff of Newport,
Herkimer, NY. I hope at least a couple of these dates are useful to you. --
