Hello Friends. This is my first time on the list. Thank you.

John and Sarah Ferguson bought land in Stratford Nov 1660 from Adam
Blakeman and evidently lived there. He sold the land in Oct 1664 to
Abraham Wakeman.

John died in Westchester county, N.Y. in 1681.

For over ten years I've been trying to discover where they came from --
prior to their arrival in Stratford? As Stratford was founded by Puritans
from Wethersfield, I thought that to be a strong "possibility". Struck out
there as well as in any of the 1600's records of New England.

Can anyone help me? This has proven to be a real problem.
