I went into a bookstore of new/used/rare books, and came across a book
titled
"The Cathedral Church of England" and of course I had to have it!!
It is an architectural book written by William Burnet Tuthill ,M.A.
Published by the MacMillan Company in 1923 .
When I got it home and looked , I noticed a little sticker on the cover
page that says
"The Old Corner Book Store,Inc. Boston,Mass."
On the inside cover is a round ,green sticker with a woman leaning on a
tree (drawn) and says " Lois Orswell (on the left ) Her Book (on the
right) "
Does this relate to anyone????
Notes of Architecture are also handwritten in front and back .
I love old books and these things make them even more special .
The surname Tuthill is a derivitive of Tuttle???or Vs.Vs. ?
This book was found in R.I . so it's traveled just a little.
Just wanted to put this out there see if anyone may be interested in
this information?
