Good morning,
Just wanted to remind people who live outside of New England, that in a
couple of weeks Massachusetts will be celebrating .. Patriot's Day:

Lexington, MA (October 1, 2003)--- To commemorate the 229th
Anniversary of the first day of the American War of Independence,
the Lexington Minute Men, and local British Revolutionary War re-
enactors, depict the skirmish that took place on Lexington Green,
early on the morning of April 19, 1775. Witness the tensions mount,
as the local militia company from Lexington confronts the King's
Regulars, and the ensuing skirmish that follows "the Shot
heard 'round the world." The reenactment of the "Battle of
Lexington" is on Patriot's Day – April 19, 2004 starts at 5:30 am at

Historically, in the towns between Boston and Bedford and Concord (MA),
etc., there will be "Paul Revere's Ride" and Parades and "Reenactments" and,
if good weather.. lots of reasons to go outside and experience "history."
Betty (near Lowell, MA)
P.S. Lots of information on "April 19, 1775" and the people involved
with that "fateful day" can be found on the web.
"There are two lasting bequests we can give our children;
one is roots, the other is wings."

Loving kindness, a warm heart, and the stretched out hand of tolerance!"
