Hi Joan. North Dighton, MA, is not really near the City of Boston. It's in Bristol Co. is in an area which some people call the "South Coast" of MA (west of Cape Cod).

If your great-grandmother died in No. Dighton, you should write a slow-mail letter to the Town Clerk and ask for her "death certificate" from 1928. If you are writing from the U.K., they might not ask for a fee.
Of all the people you mention, do they all have the surname, CORCORAN?
And, have you asked for census information for 1900 to 1930 for both the CORCORAN and RYAN names?
(I can only check up to 1920; others can check 1930.)
Betty (near Lowell, MA)
