Hi Betty, My gt grandmothers name was Mary Ellen, you wont find her on any census as she only emigrated in 1925/6 she went to live with one of her daughters Mary Fitzmaurice and her husband Peter, I have them on the census for 1930. I have been in contact with their daughter and she told me that she thinks she was buried in St Josephs but she didnt say where this was, I would have asked her about the death certificate but she was in her late eighties and I havent heard from her for a while. I have got census for 1930 for the Ryan family in Lowell. I dont know what happened to Thomas as I never found a passenger list for him or even a death for him over here. Thankyou ever so much for looking for information for me.
