Hi -
I've checked into the Railroad Retirement Board information, and
there's one thing to consider before you send for records. Like Social
Security, they didn't start keeping records until 1936, so you won't
find information on anyone who worked for the railroad before that
year. In my case, my great-grandfather was retired by that time, so it
did me no good.
