willing to do
book lookups, and I am currently working on indexing some of the more
recent
Dodgeville Chronicle newspaper issues.

2. Iowa County Genealogical Society

We are a new Society formed in Wisconsin - just in time to celebrate
Wisconsin's
Sesquicentennial birthday this year! Our site carries information on
how to join;
our meeting date, place, and agenda for each month; free queries for
members and
nonmembers alike; links to other WI societies; and coming soon:
databases of what
you will find in our printed publications, surnames that our members are
researching, and a chance to purchase an Ancestor Pioneer certificate
for your
direct line ancestor if they were in Iowa County 100 or more years ago.

added to each site as it becomes available.
