Since his birth was before 1907 it may or may not have been registered
with the county/state. I have only found about 50% of my Wisconsin
people registering births before 1907. For any vital record information
after 1907 only the state and county will hold that information. Records
before 1907 may be viewed at other locations (on film) such as the State
Historical Library.

The ARC does hold several area churchbooks that have been microfilmed,
although... no Catholic church records.

If you would like to check for naturalization records you would want to
check with Iowa County courthouse. The ARC doesn't hold Iowa County
naturalization records.

The ARC is a wonderful resource and has many county history books that
may help your search.
