Hi,
The CCC was more of a 'Civilian Conservation Corps'....and were responsible
for constructing dams, watersheds, and other conservational efforts. Usually
found more in the WW II era, they were responsible for a lot of improvements.
The Tennessee Valley area was a big project of the CCC, as were the locks at
Sault Sainte Marie, I believe.
