I got your email address from the Missouri Surname Researchers List. I
am just beginning my genealogical search for my great-grandmother, Mora
Estelle (Estella?) Lowry (Lowery?) b. May 2, 1885 d. April 27, 1946.
She was born in Grove Springs, MO; parents were John & Martha (maiden
name unknown). Martha was said to have been Cherokee. Mora married
Calvin Monroe Weaver; their second-to-youngest son, Elko Sequoia (my
grandfather), was supposedly born on a reservation in Rabbit, OK. If
you have any leads that would be helpful to me, I would be endlessly
grateful.
