I have a link for Sarah Ann Gossard m. Herbert James Burton late 1800s. Sarah gives her birth place as Congleton in 1881 census. She was connected with Thomas Gossard drapers Ashbourne. Thomas Gossard m. Sarah Ann Hadfield May 1867 Asbourne. There are no Gossards attached to Congleton, but there are Hadfields at the time in both Ashbourne and Congleton, with a possible family link between them. Does anyone know anything about the link? I would love to hear.
