I have John R. Hafer and wife Susan ???. He died in Ocheltree, KS abt Feb. 1882. I have a copy of his will. I do not show a child for them named Rubin. They had daughters Libby(b 1871 & Elsie(b 1881).

He had a son (John Lindsey Hafer) & daughter Mary (May?) by an earlier marriage. His first wife may have been named May.

The surname is somtimes spelled Haffer.

Do we have a connection?
