I am glad to see so much going on on the Hagler list now. My great great
grandmother was Catherine Hagler, a daughter from J. Peter Hagler's first
marriage. As far as I know, no one has ever come up with a name for this
lady. Catherine married Morton Thomas and she had a sister named Pheobe
that married Morton's brother, Joel. Catherine is not listed on the 1850
Barbour Co. Al. and Pheobe died about 1851 as far as I can find. Morton and
Joel are mentioned in J. Peter Hagler's will.

If anyone has any idea who J. Peter's first wife was, I would greatly
appreciate the information.
