In your research, have you ever came across Susannah HAGLER / HEGLER to
marry Harmonious SHOOK?? ( In Grant/Hardy County, WVA)

In some research from others, a date and place has been stated, although
never proven that I could find. I have a date and place of:

23-June-1798 at Old North Mill Creek Church, Petersburg, Grant County,
WVA

I have found NO proof of this. I thought Susannah may have been a
daughter of Leonard HAGLER, but there is no Susannah (Hagler) SHOOK, wife
of Harmonious SHOOK listed in the Will for Leonard.
Most of Leonard Hagler's children came to Ohio and settled in Fayette (?)
and Greene Counties Ohio. I know there are others out there that may have
done more research on the HAGLER / HEGLER name to tell me if they ever
came across a reference for Susannah being a HAGLER who married a SHOOK.

I was really hopeing to find parents of MY Susannah (Hagler) SHOOK. In
most early researches, sources were never important to genealogy (and I
am guilty of this) but over the years, I have found how important that
information is NOW!! I am counting on someone with the knowledge of
HAGLER / HEGLER lines to help me find the proof I need for this couple.
Does anyone have access to the church records of Old North Mill Creek
Church, Petersburg, Grant County, WV? I am really hopeing someone can
help me find their marriage as proof of her maiden name.
