In this posting there was a reference to Phillip Hagler. After referring to
the Long web site I noticed that Mary (Long) & Phillip's youngest child was a
Phillip b. 1813 and that he possibly married Hasty Vincent. However, when
they went to the data on those children the Phillip b. in 1813 was not listed.
This the youngest child of Phillip & Mary would be about the right age to have
been the father of my G-grandfather Peter Isaac Hagler. Peter was born in
Wilks County N. C. on Aug. 2, 1836 and census as well as Bible records show his
father to have been named Phillip. After years of searching we have nothing on
this Phillip. Peter Isaac probably migrated to Illinois then Texas and Kan.
before settling in Barry County Mo where he died in 1919. If anyone has any
info to share on this branch of the tree it would be greatly appreciated.
