This will sound like a wacky question but it's something I have often wondered
about.

When I was a small child (c. 1950) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin there was a large
retail store called "Robert Hall". It was some type of department store because
I recall seeing teapots (and have one my mother purchased there) and ladies
lingerie.

I am assuming this was a chain store but it's just a hunch because in my childs
memoriy it was a large exciting place to shop. We moved to Florida in 1954 and
I've never heard of another store by that name.

I've always wondered if Robert Hall belonged on a twiglet on my family tree.
Does anyone recall a similar place and does anyone know who this Robert Hall was?
