For several years, I have been searching for any family background for
my maternal grandmother,

LESBIA SHERMAN HALSEY
dob: 5Dec1888, Coffeyville, Kansas
dom: 14Jan1914, Coffeyville, Kansas (Arthur Mitchell Hoose)
dod: 17June1956, Carlsbad, New Mexico.

She was, I was once told, very proud that she had satisfied the
requirements for membership in the DAR, but I have not been able to find
any record of this. There is no one in my mother's family still living
who has any information to bring to bear on their, and my, ancestry.

Any help this list can provide will be very welcome.
