Hi Listers
I've hit a nice brick wall with my father's stepfather and possible
step-siblings (I say 'possible' because my father never discussed his family
and it's only faint childhood memories that make us think their was at least
one stepsister.) His stepfather was Edgar Gardiner born around 1871,
probably in Hampshire, father's name William and both father and son are
described on Edgar's marriage certificate as Labourer. Edgar married Edith
Fullick 8 Feb 1908 in Bramshott Parish Church. So far I haven't been able to
track down Edgar's birth certificate which would help a lot. This is just a
hope that there might be someone on the list who might be researching the
name GARDINER or have some suggestions as to where I could look next.
