Hi Kenneth,
I have old family photos from the 1860's to 1890's and can give you the names of other photographers, if this is of any help. (Probably the most interesting for you) (1) Southsea Portrait Gallery, Athol
House, Kings Road (Entrance Norfolk Street), W. Amey Proprietor : (2) G. West & Son, Artists & Photographers, Palmerston Road, Southsea and Eagle House, Gosport: (3) J. Vanhear, Photographer, 25 Chapel
Row, Portsea: (4) H. Lindsay Tilly, Warwick House, Norfolk Street, Southsea (the photo I have from this establishment is dated 1872): In Bournmouth there was (1) Atelier, Octavius Carter, Photographer,
The Commercial Road Studio, 19 Commercial Road, Bournmouth. In Ryde, IOW there was (1) F.M Thomson, 28 West Street, Ryde IOW (but this establishment may have been later - the photo I have is dated May
1914. Hope this helps. Adrianne
