Hello Margaret,

Possibly! At present I only know a very limited amount of
'my' TROUGHTON branch.What I do know is that my
godmother (Olive Mathilde Cross) married William Redhead
TROUGHTON in 1900 at Liverpool Register Office. I also
know that William was born in Birkenhead in 1879 and was
a tailor by trade. Olive was my father's cousin being the
fourth child of William James & Lilly CROSS (nee Simpson)
~ Lilly was my grandmother's oldest sister. This is all I
know at present of this branch of my family.

I have written off for the Marriage cert. of William & Olive
and when this is received I will have William's father's
name, so may just be able to move backwards ~ then
we may see a connection.
