Eleven Children
The most complete record of Luke Hanks children can be found in the
books of cousin Adin Baber, "The Hanks Family of Virginia and Westward,"
and "Nancy Hanks of Undistinguished families." One child of LukeII,
Abraham Hanks according to Baber was the father of Nancy Hanks Lincoln.
The eldest child of Luke II, George Hanks 1778-1826, Anderson District,
SC, is the line I am descended from.
