Subject: [HANKS-L] Warren Hanks son of Levi and Chloe Squires Hanks of Vermont

Does anyone have any information on this Hanks line? According to an LDS
search, Warren Hanks was born Oct. 22, 1806 in Vermont to Levi and Chloe
Squires Hanks. I have a picture of a man in a Civil War Union Uniform. My
grandfather had told me that it was my great great great grandfather, Warren.
Grandpa didn't say what Warren's last name was. However, when I sent for
information to Andersonville Prison Camp where he was reported to have died,
they sent me back a photocopy of that same picture and said the name was
Seymour Hanks. I have searched over and over for Seymour Hanks and can find
no record of him anywhere. However, Warren Hanks was born in Vermont, where
my great great grandmother, Antha was born. Warren Hanks also served in the
Civil War, from Illinois, where my "Hanks line" lived at that time. I have
come to believe that Warren and Seymour may be one in the same. I know from
great great grandmother's death certificate that her mother was Lydia Jaimer
or Taimer, couldn't read the last name, and it was handwritten. I am hoping
against hope that someone has this Hanks line, and that they have a Warren
Hanks that married Lydia. IF my theory is correct, then Warren (alias
Seymour?) and Lydia had at least the following children: Antha b. 1849 in
Vermont, Milo born in either WI or IL, and Rose Hanks. If anyone has any
