So you are descended from O.T. Hanks? My g-grandfather was O.T.'s brother,
John S.W. Hanks. We have a copy of O.T.'s Civil War memoir. Fascinating
stuff. Are you acquainted with Sandi Ladd, one of O.T.'s descendants? She
is having a copy made of a photo of O.T. and wife Susan and is supposed to
send me a copy when it's ready.
