Im trying to find out about my maternal grandfather.

His name was John Newman Hanks and all that I know about him is that he came over to England in the late 20s/early 30s from the USA. He was either in or attached to the Air Force and was working in an administrative role. Im assuming he was born some time around 1910 or thereabouts.

He married my grandmother, Harriet Minnie Farmer, in Kent. She already had one child - John Farmer. They had one child together - my mother. When my mother was about 6 months old (she believes) they separated, and subsequently divorced. At some time after that he married another woman, and they had children together.

This is all I know about him... any help would be appreciated :)
