I am the youngest of 5 children of William Hannon (born in Egan, LA,
1908-1975) and Rosa Belle Cormier (born in Evangeline, LA, 1924-1996).
They are: Mary Ethel, James Marlin "Keith", Walter William, Sam Warren
and me, Emma "Gail". I am 48 years old. My father was the youngest child
of Sam George Hannon and Mary LaGrange. I knew very little of our
father's family since he was up in age when I came along. I know he had
brothers Clarence and George and a sister named Bessie. His mother had
been previously married to a man with the last name of St. Cyr. There
are step-siblings, but, I cannot remember all of their names. His father
had a brother, Woody, who married a woman (possibly a trapeze artist)
who worked with a circus. If anyone could help me with any information,
it would be greatly appreciated, since I am just starting to try to
trace my ancestors. Thanks and good luck with your searches, too.
