I have two Octavia Hardy's in my data base. Both of them are older than
the one you are looking for but since Octavia doesn't sound like a
common name, I thought this might give you an idea of where to look. I
won't list all the children, just to save time. An outline of this

Richard Hardy b. 1775, Edgefield District, SC d. 1843 (had 11 children,)
Children:

1. Octavia (Tava)b. 10-1-1806 S.C., d. 2-8-1882 married Abner Glanton
(had 5 children

2. Thomas b. 1-25-1795 d.11-14-1870 married Susan Day (had 11
children)

Children:
a. Octavia E. b. 2-15-1834 d. 11-16-1866 m. Zachariah Hughuley

It may not be the answer but it might give you a new place to look, such
as Troup Co, Georgia, which is where I found my line of Hardy's.
